It also happens to the vet’s dog!

He is a German Shepherd, Ramiro, who is a brave cat by nature! A disagreement arose with the horse and he was hit on the right side of the lower leg area. At the animal clinic in the south of the city, a fracture of the mandible was diagnosed, as well as a fracture of the premolar (tooth) on the right side. The dog was stabilised by his own vet owner Maria Daubaraite. Vapper Ramiro received a drop, cast, and initial fixative support to the lower jaw. But sometimes you can’t do it alone, so the fracture was finally fixed by veterinarian Kai Laars and the procedure was performed in Tallinn Animal Clinic. Kai also removed a broken tooth root and later the rest of the tooth. Thank you Kaile! Poor puppy had to be on a peaceful regime for 2 months. After that the bone healed completely. It was a very happy accident! If your pet gets a trauma, don’t rely on good luck, but see a vet immediately! The pictures below show the bone healing process, which took 8 weeks.
